Clyde Smith, 79

 Warsaw resident Clyde Smith died Tuesday, August 22, at The Villa in Georgetown, Ohio. He was 79.
Mr. Smith worked as a truck driver for many years.
He is survived by three sons, Roger Lee Smith, Terry Allen Smith and Dennis Clyde Smith; two daughters, Sheila Rae Smith and Diane Collins; three brothers, Charles Ray Smith, Roy Smith and Donnie Smith; nine sisters, Margaret Lawson, Alene Ivey, Glorene Looper, Phyllis Dunn, Lillian Brewer, Evalee Dial, Irene Foley, Carldene Creech and Regina Gail Austin; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Smith; one brother, Howard Smith; and two sisters, Ella Jean Lawson and Melinda Kay King.
Visitation was held Saturday, August 26, from 12 noon until 2 p.m. at Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw. The funeral service was conducted immediately following visitation. Burial was at Warsaw Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
