Wesley Owens, 74

  Former Warsaw resident Wesley Owens died Wednesday, February 8, at University of Miami Hospitalís Hospice Center. He was 74.
Mr. Owens was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force who served during the Vietnam War. After serving in the military, he moved to Miami, Florida, where he worked for the Ryder Company as an electronic data engineer for more than 30 years until he retired.
He is survived by three sisters, Joyce Ellis of Warsaw, Wanda Owens Belton of Texas and Barbara Warth of Lexington; and five nephews, Jesse Ellis of Louisville, Michael Ellis of Warsaw, Rich Ellis of Florida, Barry Bickers of Carrollton and Billy Warth of Lexington.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Mary Owens.
Arrangements were made in Miami.
