Charles L. Edmondson, 86

 Glencoe resident Charles L. Edmondson died Wednesday, October 26, at St. Elizabeth Hospice Care Center in Edgewood. He was 86.
Mr. Edmondson worked as a program analyst for the IRS and as a farmer.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was one of the founding members of the Glencoe Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce; two sons, Matthew and Andrew Edmondson; two daughters, Jackie Couture and Samantha Colligan; two brothers, David and Jeffery Edmondson; two sisters, Joyce Houp and Beverly Anderson; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Phillip, Roger, Norman and Johnny Edmondson; and one sister, Judy Tolbert.
Visitation was held Friday, October 28, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw. The funeral service began at 1 p.m., Saturday, October 29. Burial was at Owenton Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Glencoe Baptist Church or the Gallatin County Emergency Medical Services (EMS).
