Jerry Wayne Webster, 75

 Carrollton resident Jerry Wayne Skirvin died Wednesday, March 16, at his home. He was 75.
Mr. Skirvin was retired from the former Parkview IGA in Carrollton as produce manager. He also worked at the Gallatin County IGA and for NAPA Auto Parts in Carrollton. He had served with the Army National Guard Unit in Carrollton.
He was of the Apostolic Pentecostal faith and a Kentucky Colonel.
He is survived by one daughter, Liesa Wilson of Milton; one son, Mike Murphy of Middletown; three sisters, Ella Frances Wright and Wanda Licklider of Carrollton and Sue Downey of Port Royal; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Ellen Skirvin; one son, Russell Murphy; four brothers, Sam “Tubby” Skirvin, Benji “Ben” Skirvin, Kenneth “Kenny” Skirvin and Melvin Hopkins; and a half-sister, Leona Harmon.
Visitation was held Saturday, March 19, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home in Carrollton. Rev. Dr. Chris White conducted the funeral service, Saturday, March 19, at 1 p.m. at the funeral Home.
Burial will be at Moffett Cemetery in Milton.
