Bob Acree, 84

 Verona resident Bob Acree died Sunday, January 24, at his home. He was 84.
Mr. Acree was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Korean war. He was a member and former deacon of the Walton Christian Church. He was a truck driver, first for the Ford Brothers, and later for Roadway. He was also a member of the Teamsters Union.
He is survived by his wife, Eloise Arnett Acree; one son, Robin G. Acree of Ft. Mitchell; one daughter, Lee Anne Ryan of Verona; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Jeff Acree; one great-grandson, Ryan Frilling; one brother, William Acree; one sister, Betty John Allen; and son-in-law, Todd Ryan.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 27, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home in Verona.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 28, at the funeral home.
Burial will be at New Bethel Cemetery in Verona.
Memorials are suggested to the Walton Christian Church or the Verona EMS.
