Don Edwin Brashear, 64

  Warsaw resident Don Edwin Brashear died Sunday, October 24, at UC Hospital in Cincinnati. He was 64 years old.
Mr. Brashear retired from Kentucky Utilities after working for 35 years. He was an assistant supervisor when he retired. He also worked as a pilot on the Warsaw Ferry.
He is survived by his wife, Adria Wilson Brashear; one daughter, Rachel Rassman; two sisters, Donna Noel and Carolyn Dossett; two grandchildren, Justin and Jarin Rassman; two nephews, Travis Noel and David New, all of Warsaw. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Christy Lynne Brashear.
Visitation was held at Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home, Tuesday, October 26. Kenny French conducted the funeral service on Wednesday, October 27.
Pallbearers were Eddie Wilson, K.C. Wilson, Paul Bergkessel, Kevin Rassman, Jerry Hunt and Chad Morris. Honorary pallbearers were J.T. Dossett, Travis Noel, Wayne Noel, David New and Jerry Webb.
Burial was at the Warsaw Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
