Jack Benny Courtney, 70

 Glencoe resident Jack Benny Courtney died February 13, at his home. He was 70 years old.

Mr. Courtney served on the Gallatin County School Board for 23 years. He was a farmer and member of the Glencoe Baptist Church.

He is survived by two daughters, Jackie Sargent of Napoleon and Cindy Flynn of Glencoe; three sisters, Clarice Alcorn and Janis Hill of Glencoe and Joyce Vest of Verona; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Ballard Courtney, and one brother James Courtney.

Funeral services were at Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw. Burial was in the Glencoe Cemetery.
