Gerald David Brashear, 76

 Warsaw resident Gerald David Brashear died Thursday, May 8, at his home. He was 76 years old.
Mr. Brashear had worked in home construction and was a former grave digger. He was a member of the Life Church of God of Napoleon and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by two sons, Robert “Robbie” Brashear of Warsaw, and Scott Patton of Florence; one sister, Eva Barnett of Warsaw; former wife, Kay Brashear of Warsaw; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Anita Brashear; one sister, Carol Ruth Thomas; and one brother, Robert Brashear.
Visitation was held Monday, May 12, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home in Verona. The funeral service was conducted immediately following visitation. Burial was at the Napoleon IOOF Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Life Church of God.
