Marietta Turner, 82

 Warsaw resident Marietta Turner died Wednesday, February 19. She was 82 years old.
Mrs. Turner was energetic in everything she did. She was a talented seamstress and gardener. She also loved to hunt and fish, especially with her son, Bubby. She also did odd jobs and cleaned for a variety of businesses in town including the Gallatin County News and the Public Library.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry Roberts of Owenton and Dennis Roberts of Warsaw; one brother, Reuben Ligon; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Roberts; one brother, Herman Ligon; one son, Bubby Roberts; one daughter, Vicki Howell; and one grandson.
Visitation was held Saturday, February 22, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw. Bro. Darrell Maines conducted the funeral service immediately following visitation. Burial was at the Warsaw Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Warsaw Lions Club.
