Lola Wilson, 77

 Verona resident Lola Wilson died Sunday, July 14, at her home. She was 77 years old.
Mrs. Wilson worked as a nurse’s aide at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati for many years before retiring.
She is survived by her husband, Jim; one son, Jim Wilson of Pineville; four sisters, Geneva Alford of Michigan, Jean Ingram of Corbin, Cora Rose of London, and her twin sister, Lela Helton of Flat Lick; and one brother, Jack Turnbill of Michigan.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry and Sherman Turnbill; and two sisters, Juanita Turnbill and Ruby Stewart.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville.
Rev. Astor Simpson will conduct the funeral Friday, July 19, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Wallsend Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
