Emma Bea Parker Bowman, 90

 Former Warsaw resident Emma Bea Parker Bowman died Saturday, October 6, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Wisconsin, following a brief illness. She was 90 years old.
Mrs. Bowman taught elementary school in Gallatin County and Carroll County for approximately 30 years. She was also active in the Warsaw Baptist Church, singing n the choir and serving as the church pianist/organist.
She also participated in the General Federation of Women’s Clubs and was a member of the Eastern Star. She was always active, pursued many hobbies, and enjoyed reading and traveling.
Mrs. Bowman is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Parker of Madison, Wisconsin, and Julia Parker Beach of Tijeras, New Mexico; one son, Belvierd C. Parker of Somerset; three step-daughters, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Thomas B. Parker; her husband of 19 years, Marion Bowman; one daughter, Cynthia Parker; and four siblings.
A memorial service was held Saturday, October 13, at Waunakee Manor in Waunakee, Wisconsin. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or Susan G. Komen for the Cure in memory of Mrs. Bowman who was a breast cancer survivor.
A memorial service will be held in Warsaw at a later date.
Ryan Funeral Home in Waunakee handled the arrangements.
