Kiser Wilson, 79

 Gallatin County resident Kiser Wilson died Friday, May 18, at his home. He was 79 years old.
Mr. Kiser was a member of the Concord Pentecostal Church. He was a lifelong farmer and a former special equipment operator for the Kentucky Department of Transportation.
He is survived by his wife, Grethel Mae Mullins Wilson; one son, Scott Wilson of Verona; one brother, Donnie Wilson of Mt. Sterling; two sisters, Devonia Vance and Brenda Lockhart; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Rolla “Pat” Wilson, J.C. Wilson, Billy Wilson and Richard Wilson; and two sisters, Esther Oliver and Marlene Farris.
Visitation was held Tuesday, May 22, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home in Verona. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 23, at 1 p.m., also at the funeral home. Burial will be at New Bethel Cemetery in Verona.
Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
