Hazel Sanders Ware, 87

 New Liberty resident Hazel Sanders Ware died Thursday, April 26, at her home. She was 87 years old.
Mrs. Ware was a homemaker and a member of the Park Ridge Baptist Church.
She is survived by eight sons, Rev. Ray S. Ware of Indianapolis, Indiana; William V. Ware of Jeffersonville, Indiana; Cavella W. Ware, Jr. of Florence, Clarence W. “Moe” Ware of New Liberty, Douglas G. Ware of Ellenwood, Georgia; Jerome Ware of New Rochelle, New York; Christopher L. Ware of Orlando, Florida and Anthony T. Ware of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; five daughters, Joyce A. Travis of Burlington, Brenda L. Nevils of Florence, Caralyn F. Brown of Indianapolis, Patricia R. Lowery of Ooltewa, Tennessee, and Effie M. Forte of Bowling Green; one brother, James Frank Sanders; 21 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sisters Nettie and Nellie Sanders, Mabel Branom and Grace Singleton; and one brother, Lester Sanders, Sr.
Visitation was held Sunday, April 29, from 4 to 8 p.m., at McDonald and New Funeral Home in Owenton. The funeral service was held Monday, April 30, at 1 p.m. at Park Ridge Baptist Church. Burial was at Maple Grove Cemetery.
