Don Earl Sproul, 92

 Don Earl Sproul of Houston, Texas died Sunday, May 2. He was 91 years old.
Mr. Sproul was a member of Memorial Drive United Methodist Church. He earned his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Cincinnati where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon.
He served six years as a special agent in the FBI before returning to his hometown of Dayton, Ohio to practice law.
He moved to Houston in 1958 and worked in the trust department of Houston Bank & Trust Co. and later at Houston National Bank. He retired in 1977 as a Vice President in Houston National Bank’s trust department.
He is survived by one daughter, Virginia Crump; three sons, Warren Sproul, David Sproul and Jeffrey Sproul; eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jennie Ritchey Davis Sproul, whose parents were Perry and Virginia Davis of Steeles Bottom in Gallatin County; granddaughter Ellen Yvonne Zamora and one sister, Amy Lee Kramer.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 15, at the Warsaw Cemetery.
Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw is handling the arrangements.
