Barry Landis Brown, 76

 Former Warsaw resident Barry Landis Brown died Thursday, June 2, at his home in Carrollton. He was 76 years old.
Mr. Brown received his bachelor of science degree in business administration from Ohio State University and bought the Warsaw Furniture Manufacturing Co. in 1969 and served on the board of directors of the Sparta Bank.
After moving to Carrollton, he became owner of LAN-CAY, Inc. He was a former member of the Carrollton Planning and Zoning Commission.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1963.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Cayton Brown of Carrollton; one daughter, Beth Ann Wallace of Warsaw; four sons, Barry L. Brown Jr., Brent E. Brown and Bruce A. Brown of Warsaw; and Bradley W. Brown of Hebron; one brother, Ronald B. Brown, M.D., of Virginia Beach, Virginia; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Rev. Kavungal Davey will conduct a memorial mass on Friday, June 10, at 12:15 p.m. at St. John Catholic Church in Carrollton.
Burial will be at the St. Joseph Cemetery in Warsaw.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home in Carrollton handled the arrangements.
