Janice Elaine Sasser Osborne, 73

  Georgetown resident Janice Elaine Sasser Osborne died Saturday, April 24. She was 73 years old.
A graduate of Georgetown College, Mrs. Osborne taught school in a number of Kentucky counties, including Gallatin. She retired after teaching for 35 years.
She is survived by her husband, Happy Osborne of Georgetown; two sons, Happy Jr. of Georgetown and John of Washington, D.C.; one daughter, Jill Edwards of London; one brother, Dr. Gerald Sasser of Louisville; two sisters, Carole Sasser of Lexington and Ruth Sasser Dillon of Montgomery, Ohio; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Marshal Sasser Jr. and Harold Glenn Sasser and two sisters, Veda Joyce Sasser Powell and Ruby Sasser Riddle.
Rev. Thomas Sweat will conduct the funeral service, Thursday, April 29, at 2:30 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church in Georgetown. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
