Ebbie Bush Spicer, 82

 Verona resident Ebbie Bush Spicer died Tuesday, April 6, at St. Elizabeth in Edgewood. She was 82 years old.
Ms. Spicer was a homemaker and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church in Verona.
She is survived by three sons, Lourel “Buddy” Spicer of Crittenden, David Spicer of Richwood, and Lenny Spicer of Corinth; five daughters, Ada Gross of Verona, Edith Biddle of Glencoe, Virginia Mullins Porter and Deborah Lothridge of Napoleon, and Coleen Bailey of Glencoe; two brothers, Delbert Bush of Owenton and Lucien Bush of Mt. Sterling; one sister, June Deaton of Corinth; 17 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Friday, April 9, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, Verona. The funeral service was held Friday, April 9, at 5 p.m. A graveside service was held Saturday, April 10, at 11 a.m. at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill. Memorials are suggested to New Bethel Baptist Church, 2022 Verona-Mudlick Road, Verona, KY 41092.
